The Tudors Season 3 Coming Up Soon!
The Tudors Season 3 feels like it is racing forward. Maybe I am overstating things a little bit but production began June 2008 and there are tons of new photos available on the Showtimes Tudor site and other fan sites. So what is going on during Season 3?
Well most of you might remember that Season 2 ended with Anne Boleyn losing her head and her family running off in various stages of disgrace. Katherine of Aragon was dead and Mary suffering while Elizabeth was suddenly demoted to the rank of yet another royal bastard. Henry was in love with Jane and preparing to marry her.
Season 3 picks up with Henry and Jane getting married. There will be a new actress playing Jane this year and the beginning of the season will focus on that marriage and relationship. Jane Boleyn will still be in evidence and I am curious to see how the series creators portray her. Anne of Cleves will also make her appearance by the end of the Season and should be in at least 3 episodes. It has been confirmed that singer Joss Stone will be playing Anne of Cleves and I am very excited about the prospect.
I’ve heard that if the series will cover two wives a season which will give at least one more season to showcase the last two wives of Henry VIII. Some people I”ve talked to have wondered about another actor playing fat Henry. I think the show will be fine if my baby continues his role since as long as he is lame, bitter, and an ass he’ll be believable. I also hope that the show will cover the reigns of Mary and Elizabeth since it is just titled “The Tudors” Showtime could easily pull it off.

Invest or Not to Invest
First of all everyone reading this needs to remember that I am a random woman from Georgia. I am not someone that offers financial advice all the time so take these words with one grain of salt…
Many years ago a close friend of mine and I invested in our employers retirement plan. This plan included investing in some mutual funds and was on the way to creating a nice little nest egg for us in the future. Now it seems like some of those eggs are cracking and EVERYONE I run into is in a rush to pull out of the stock market. Have I stopped investing? Nope not at all. Why? I am still very young.
Even though I believe that individuals who are a step away from retiring should cash out their investments I think those individuals who are 40 and younger with decades of work years ahead should keep trucking. In fact I have started getting more serious about online trading since I think that the US economy will bounce back in a year or so.
I’m sure some people are typing up scathing emails right now to tell me how uninformed or naive I am but its my plan and I’m sticking to it. I really believe that any investment I make while I am in my 20s will pan out by the time I am in my 60s. If it doesn’t well then lesson learned and chances are I’ll be worrying about more than internet trading at that point if the economy does take another few really nasty turns for the worst.
